Acceptances have been flooding in from across the globe for the launch of We Did Our Homework on the Bus on Saturday 1 October at the school.

Confirmation has been received from old boys living in Australia, America, France and Spain that they will be attending the event which looks destined to be the largest gathering of old boys ever assembled since the school closed.

Several teachers have confirmed they will be coming. The event will be in the main hall at St Mary’s. What used to be the kitchen is now the staff area for Christ the King College whose principal Camilla Crampton, has kindly given us permission to use that area too so there will be plenty of space to spread out.

Details of the event are still being finalised but some surprises are planned so watch this space. It is hoped there will be an extensive array of St Mary’s memorabilia on display. A special cake has been commissioned too which will be unveiled and light refreshments will be available.

The book itself will be available for the first time at the event.
