‘A holiday camp with excellent teachers’

When John Geraghty, who started at St Mary’s in 1968, describes the school as ‘a holiday camp’ it’s not to say he found a lax regime. More that he simply enjoyed it so much and was impressed by the teaching. Apologies for the background noise but hopefully you can hear John’s recollections.
